Viticultural estate (AOC Sancerre) : “SCV Reverdy Bernard and Son”
This family viticultural estate produces white wine (Sauvignon vine) and red wine (Pinot noir vine), pinkish. They grow 11.5 ha of vines, white wine represents 80% of the entire production. The soil kind is clay and chalky.
There are two permanent employed workers and 1-2 students are employed in the summer for the vines operations (cutting and med to tie). The grape harvest is realized with machineries ; thus, they don’t need workforce.
They produce 90 000 bottles per year and 80% of the entirety is sold in foreign countries : USA, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Danemark.
